With a robust foundation in the aviation industry, Jaylon Brown brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as President and Co-Founder of Altitude Consulting Services. Jaylon, an alumnus of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. Attending one of the inaugural classes when the location opened in the myrtle beach area, began his career as a contractor for Boeing, where he was a key member of a repair team for the 787 program performing installations and corrections in multiple cells though out the facility. This experience honed his technical skills and deepened his understanding of complex aviation systems.
Following his tenure at Boeing, Jaylon joined Mountain Air Cargo, where he rapidly advanced through various roles, including Mechanic, Lead Mechanic, and Inspector. His leadership was pivotal in managing the Myrtle Beach location, where he was responsible for line maintenance, maintenance scheduling, and oversight at both the Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina facilities. His hands-on approach and commitment to excellence ensured operational efficiency and high safety standards.
Jaylon’s journey continued as he took on the role of Quality Control Inspector at Myrtle Air Services, a 145 MRO. There, he ascended to Lead Inspector, Maintenance Manager, and ultimately Director of Maintenance. In this capacity, he implemented rigorous quality assurance processes and led teams to achieve exceptional results, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in the aviation field.
